It’s been a long time since I’ve done an update on my build and a lot has changed.  I continue to get questions on what has been done to it so here is an update.

Since then I’ve taken my car to Apex Motoring in the Greater Toronto Area to get my engine built. There he took the engine out and did a bottom end build with forged pistons and rods. Working with Nathan Samuels I chose to use Manley pistons and Carrillo rods for the build.

I also went with a bigger turbo. I went with a Garrett GTX3582r as a hybrid turbo that was assembled by Pure Turbos. More updates on that turbo to come in the future. This combination enabled me to go 180 in the half mile in Gila Bend. My builder Nathan  was there supporting and fine tuning, in direct contact with the tuner the entire day and we were able to go fast.

It’s been a road of ups and downs like we all have when fully building our cars and challenges have come and gone.

I appreciate my dad being part of my journey. He and I have always done car things together and he has done a ton on this project as well. More on that in a future blog post as well.
